The obstacle is the way

“The obstacle is the way."

100 Miles… Through rain, wind, sand, rock, and everything else the desert had for me, I persevered and achieved what I set out to do six years prior, when I first read “Born to Run”.

The journey was not linear, but it rarely is. I set a goal for myself and worked tirelessly towards it, overcoming any hurdles that stood in my way. The challenges I faced along the way were not roadblocks, but opportunities to learn, grow, and become stronger. I had forgotten what it was like to be truly dedicated to a mission. To set a goal, and every day show up, put in the work, and refuse to give up.

The obstacles I overcame were not easy, but they helped shape me. Tough times teach us the most about ourselves and our abilities. After-all success is not a destination, but a journey. Every step you take, every obstacle you overcome, and every setback you face is an opportunity to grow stronger and become better.

I learned along the way that there’s no limit to our potential, we must embrace the process, stay focused on our goal, and have the courage to continue even when the road ahead seems long and difficult. The promise is a better version of yourself on the other side.

Thank you to the #antelopecanyonultras for closing this chapter for me and congratulations to all the others who were able make it through the storm.

Onward and upwards!
